My question is: if whatever they are doing is backed by popular demand, and if it is almost universally accepted that the existing election mechanism of Bangladesh is totally incapable of reflecting voice of people, then shouldn't we treat this endeavor as a change positive to democracy?<br /><br />2) If likes of Prof Yunus run for MP after widespread reform in the system and win a clean election - don't they by definition become "Politicians"? <br />Or, are we just assuming the term "politician" as synonymous to "corrupted god-fathers"?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
